Vasavaleha Uses:

• Vasavaleha is used in taking care of bronchitis, pain abdomen, bleeding disorders. It acts as a bronchodilator and antimicrobial.

Traditional Indications:

• Rajayakshma - chronic bronchitis tuberculosis
• Kasa
• Shwasa - respiratory disorders involving difficulty in breathing
• Parshvashoola - pain on the sides of the abdomen - flanks
• Hrut Shoola - cardiac pain
• Raktapitta - bleeding disorders like nasal bleeding, Ulcerative colitis, and menorrhagia
• Jwara

Vasavaleha Dose:

• 6 - 12 grams once or two times a day before or after food or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician.
• It is usually administered with milk/honey / warm water Dosage for children below 5 years of age - 1 - 2 grams, once or twice a day, along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water/milk.
• Dosage for children between 5 - 12 years of age - 5 grams once or twice a day along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water/milk.
